Isabel R. is a Moruya born, Sydney based artist, and current co-director and curator of Interlude Gallery.
Isabel graduated from UNSW, Art & Design. She has been studying and working as an independent curator and artist between Australia and Mexico. Her practice meditates around concepts such as cross-cultural pollination, prosthetic objects & desire, aesthetics and simplicity, etc.
Isabel’s curatorial approach is based on mutual understanding of basic concepts and ideas, facilitating the assimilation of the content for the public rather than tireless academic discourses.
